| Description: | AtTask, Inc., the leading provider of project and portfolio management software, has an opening for a Solution Architect in the Consulting Services to work in the Professional Services Organization. The position will primarily have responsibility for ensuring the success of our customers by effectively architecting project portfolio management solutions using the @Task solution. The position will work directly with other departments throughout the Company, reporting to the Director of Consulting Services. The primary objective of the role is to help develop an outstanding professional service organization in an employee-oriented, high performance company culture that emphasizes superior quality, continuous improvement and productivity standards. This role requires a proactive and results oriented individual with the ability to work on assigned tasks, as well as independently identify other value-added activities. |
| Duties: | • Design PPM solutions using @task to achieve a customer’s business objectives following a standardized methodology and approach.
• Support the sales team during the sales cycle to ensure the customer requirements and business objectives are defined and the expectations are set appropriately.
• Develop Solution designs that promote a strategic vision as to how the @task solution will provide value to the customer’s company while solving their near-term defined business problems.
• Develop proposals and SOWs that align with the defined requirements and plan created during the sales cycle. Implement the @task solution end to end.
• Complete documentation and required deliverables identified as part of our best practices methodology during the implementation cycle.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to ensure our customer’s @task implementation and go-live success.
• Serve as a mentor, coach, knowledge resource, and escalation point for the customer.
• Create content to contribute to our continuous improvement of our methodologies, templates, etc including but not limited to implementation guide, best practices, eLibrary, certification programs, and product management.
• Other duties as assigned.

| Qualifications: | • Bachelors Degree required
• PMI certification.
• Minimum of 5 years project management. Minimum 3 years experience as an onsite consulting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and relationship skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and able to prioritize personal workload.
• Ability to develop and deliver creative business solutions for complex problems.
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions for at least 10 projects. (Customer references may be required as part of the interview process)
• Strong technical writing experience.
• Must be willing to travel 100% (home on weekends)
